

About the author...
Olga Lehmann, Ph.D is a devoted mental health advocate, researcher, psychotherapist, writer, coach, educator and community leader. She currently works as an associate professor in Psychology at the University of Stavanger, Norway and has a private clinical practice. Some people call her the "silentist", as she has been studying silence for over a decade.
Originally from Colombia, the author – a passionate mental health advocate, has built a media platform including radio, newspapers and TV in Norway, and is regularly sought out to participate in the media; specially after her participation in “Forsker Grand Prix” a television broadcast contest for researchers in 2016. Her TEDx talk about ‘Crafting Silence’ will be available shortly. She has over 40 academic publications, including being the main editor of Deep Experiencing: Dialogues within the self (SpringerBriefs), Poetry and imagined worlds (Palgrave McMillan), A poetic language of ageing (Bloomsbury academic) and Writing through grief: a therapeutic workbook for bereaved parents (Routledge, forthcoming).
